Down to earth, freedom-loving North Dakotan
I'm Mattie, and I'd love for you to consider voting for me in the 2020 June Primary Election.
Personal Message from Mattie:
I grew up just outside of Sheldon, ND, and graduated from a private, all-women's college in southern Missouri. After paying off my student loans by working at Doosan/Bobcat for three years, I took some time to travel the United States and work on my writing career.
For most of my life, I've attended the School of Hard Knocks, learning about people and life through my own experiences. I wrote and published four of my six books before I was twenty years old, paid off an enormous amount of student debt with by my own labor, and even taught myself to play the fiddle when I couldn't find someone close enough to teach me.
Though I've had plenty of opportunities throughout the United States, I've always felt as if North Dakota was the place for me, and so I decided to make my home here in Lisbon and potentially raise my family here as well. I've always admired the hard work ethic and personal responsibility of the local people. I'm hoping to pay it back to the residents of District #26 and those throughout North Dakota by serving as a North Dakota State Representative.
